Through our Filipino Chapel connections here in Misawa Japan, in February 2026, I, Dr. Michael A. Scordato (Ph.D.), a theologian & Biblical Counselor, former WMD responder & emergency management expert, will embark with our team on a mission of faith to the Philippines. I am equipped with degrees in Theology, emergency management, & a background in neuropsychology nursing & emergency response, I'm historically passionate about lives, therefore have that drive to share the truth of God's Word & the wonders of His creation.

My Mission: I was summoned for a 30 day responsibility, through Metro Manila & Angeles Pampanga (Clark), to teach & start a process to raise up leaders through seven transformative seminars on Intelligent Design, using Biblical Apologetic Creation Science, for the people of the Philippines since they lack local educators on this topic. These lessons will be presented not only to congregations or presentation centers, but also allowed into senior-level high schools, empowering students & communities with a deeper understanding of faith & science. This is all done in combination to service projects, visiting prisons, orphanages, & street witnessing!

Why This Matters…

In a world that often presents science as contrary to faith, Romans 1:20 reminds us, “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power & Godhead, so that they are without excuse.” The very fabric of creation, when properly understood, testifies to God's glory.

The challenge we face is that many in education & preprogrammed A.I. systems promote a false dichotomy, claiming you cannot use science to examine the Bible, or vice versa. This is because the Evolution Nature religion falls apart when truth is pursued rather than rejected. As John 14:6 declares, “Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, & the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.’” Rejecting truth-seeking is, in essence, rejecting Jesus.

The prevailing scientific narrative often excludes the possibility of God’s existence. This is a battle of worldviews, & we must equip believers to stand firm.

It leads to more people accepting Jesus. It empowers the Filipino population to stand up for their faith.
